In this block, we will perform the exercises simulating an arthroscopic scenario in which the work and vision portals are in the same plane, similar to what happens in arthroscopic knee surgery with the anteromedial and anterolateral portals.
In the second block, we will strengthen the arthroscopic triangulation gestures and modify the layout of the portals, placing the vision portal on a plane opposite the work plane. This scenario replicates shoulder arthroscopy using the anterior and posterior portal.
In the third and last module of the course, the work and vision portals will be positioned in an orthogonal plane, and with a rotation difference of 90º. In this way, we will complete the arthroscopic technique by modifying the biplanar distribution between both arthroscopic portals.
This last section is about free arthroscopic practice on real anatomical models. This module is not available in all ArthroTrainer training programs, but it is not part of the arthroscopic validation program, rather it is about being able to practice all the gestures, positions and maneuvers learned during the course on a 3D shoulder model. The model allows the replication of sutures and anchors, allowing you to practice both with the ArthroTrainer elements and with arthroscopic forceps from different commercial companies, being a free space in which to enjoy the learned arthroscopic technique.
